The Story of Chanie Wenjack



Narration

The Novella is a short story told from the voices of the kid, Chanie; a companion of his; and a third person spectator. This medium gives a brief look into the feelings and responses as told through characters. It is an extremely close to home point of view; causing you to feel near the character and sympathize with their agony.

In the story, the Sucker fish is used to speak to Chanie's point of view, told in first person narrative. You feel a distinctive connection from his point of view. He discusses his family, his companions and his arrangements for the afternoon; simply like some other young man. 

The Crow is speaking to somebody from the third person story, they are watching the three young men activity from a remote place. This permits you to get another viewpoint on the innocent young boys.


Chanie's friend is speaking to the Hummingbird. In his words, he tells his difficulties as he is heading out through the bramble to stay aware of his friends.

The Gord Downie songs and the going with realistic novel are passionate. The illustrations are shades of dark and blue radiate a solemn inclination. The pictures show a young man's tragic excursion in the private schools. The message is advised with the web to inspire feeling. The tunes are dismal, slow and extremely expressive. 

The graphics with the music playing encourages you to envision his excursion and feel as though you were with him. You can see his emotions and demeanor appeared all over through the illustrations as his excursion proceeds. This shows a more profound message into the story.
